The problem

A regional publication needed a modern, fast editorial platform — role-based authoring, an approval workflow, and trending surfacing — without the weight of a legacy CMS.

How we built it

A type-safe Apollo Server 5 GraphQL API with JWT auth and role-based access powers article CRUD behind an approval workflow, with a Next.js frontend optimized for imagery and speed.
